That’s a word I all too often utter when I am about to ask a question. Just ask my husband Dave. I not-so-secretly think it drives him crazy and I’ve found that the longer I wait between “Question….” and the actual question, the crazier it makes him. So here goes: Question….What would you like to see on this blog? We have been considering posting weekly features to highlight some element of our business. We’ve loosely played around with the idea of a weekly before and after post, detailing the steps we take to develop our images. The post just prior to this one displays a recent before & after image without those details. Would it be more interesting if we explained how we did it or would you rather just “be amazed” and “look at the pretty pictures?” Another idea we have is a weekly wrap-up called “The Friday Five” featuring five images that summarize our week. We want to simultaneously give you a little glimpse into our lives and grow in our ability to appreciate all of life’s little details that might have otherwise gone unnoticed. Carissa and I will each have our own Friday Five posts to publish and I will be debuting my post starting THIS Friday. (WARNING: Don’t be surprised if my Friday Fives feature a lot of food. *snicker* No comment.) I’m also looking for one more idea for a single “image of the week” type post but I am thinking of narrowing it down to a specific category. I’m open to anything but I wouldn’t mind focusing on something urban/architectural. Thoughts? And more generally speaking, we would both love to know if there is something else you’d like to see featured on this blog that we haven’t thought of yet. Speak to us in the comments section, if you like.
[[ How about some information about ourselves? You know, the info that should be under the "Grace & Leigh" portion of the site but as of now still says "stay tuned"? Hear ye, hear ye: I will publish said info by this time next week, at the latest. Done. And done. ]]

We’re working hard on a few new bells and whistles for the Grace Leigh Photography website. One big addition is our updated “portfolio” pages. Now, instead of clicking on a portfolio category and being sent to the blog post archives from that category, we have dedicated pages for each individual portfolio category. No text, no scrolling, no extraneous anything, just photos! We’re hoping this will make it easier for you to view our work instead of having to scroll through weeks and months of blog posts. The blog will still function the same way and you will still be able to scroll through those weeks and months of blog posts and find those images, if you want. However, we’ve updated the blog portion a bit by making the thumbnails larger, square, and centered to have a more pleasing look and feel. The image viewer is also more user friendly to eliminate unnecessary page scrolling. More updates, tweaks, refinements, and all-around-jazz-y-ness to come! For the moment, why don’t you take a look at our portfolio page and click on the “couples” link——->> Portfolio

Life as a wife to Dave S. has been nothing short of incredible. I am honored to be called a wife, let alone to be the wife of such a wonderful, caring, patient, loving and kind man as YOU, my love. I hope you like the photos and thank you to my beautiful Carissa Grace for taking them for us!
