I got my feet wet with a Canon Digital Rebel Xsi after which point my interest in photography skyrocketed like you wouldn&#8217;t believe. I bought, wait for it, the &#8220;Canon Rebel Xsi Book for Dummies&#8221; which I just about devoured cover to cover while on our summer vacation last year. It was far far superior to the camera&#8217;s actual manual and I learned so much from it. I also used the internet on my phone to Google endlessly for any info I could get my hands on. I no doubt spent hours pouring over the articles at Digital Photography School, when we weren&#8217;t seeing the sights that is.
