I had the treat of second shooting with Shay Cochrane again this weekend and I have to say that I had an amazing time capturing this absolutely gorgeous wedding! Shay has a couple of sneak peeks you can see on her blog and I can’t wait for the rest! I will post more of my images later this week but I just HAD to put these up now. Enjoy! Oh, and Isn’t the bride’s dress incredible?!?!?!? If you can’t tell by the pictures, trust me, she was stunning!

Wow! That is a gorgeous dress! The photos looks so good, especially the ones with the car. So what’s second shooting? Does that just mean you’re a second photographer? I don’t know the business at all.

Thanks!! Jenn, as a second shooter I basically go around wherever the main photographer isn’t and try to capture things from a different perspective and often from a different focal length. I also assist with holding gear, running small errands, testing settings, and making sure the main photographer has what she needs, if she needs anything. It’s up to the photographer I second shoot with to determine her needs so my role my look different depending on who it is.
It’s a great great way to get experience shooting without necessarily having the full pressure of being the MAIN. I AM LOVING IT!!!
